A standing notice
A persistent notification shows while protection is on, naming how many apps are watched on the phone.
When someone opens the apps you choose to protect, KŌINIsee takes a photo, checks it against your household on your own device, and tells you — honestly, on your own phone.
Android · a KŌINI product
Honest by design. KŌINIsee never hides what it's doing — and being seen is part of the deterrent.

When a photo is taken, the phone's own camera indicator shows it. We don't mute it or hide it.
KŌINIsee runs on the phone you own, protecting the apps you choose. It isn't a tool for watching other people.
Choose the apps that matter — a crypto wallet, a bank app, anything you'd never want a stranger opening. Everything else is ignored.
Add yourself, your partner, your kids. Their faces are learned on your device and never leave it. When they open a protected app, nothing happens.
If anyone who isn't enrolled opens a protected app, KŌINIsee captures the photo, encrypts it, and alerts you where you can see it — not on the phone in their hands.
Faces are matched on your device before anything else happens. A person you've enrolled opening your wallet is a non-event — the photo is discarded, nothing is uploaded, and you aren't disturbed. Only an unrecognized face reaches you.
Photos of unrecognized people are encrypted and kept in your private account — reachable from your own web portal on any device, so whoever is holding the phone is never the only one with the picture. Delete it in the app and it's gone from the server too.
They might — the phone's camera indicator shows when the camera is used, and the standing notification is visible. That's intentional. Being caught in the act is part of what stops it.
No. Enrolled faces are matched on your device first. A person you trust opening a protected app never alerts you and nothing is uploaded.
Not for this. KŌINIsee is Android only — the way it watches for a protected app opening isn't something an iPhone app can do. We'd rather be honest than ship something that doesn't work.
Only photos of unrecognized people are uploaded, encrypted, to your private account. You can view and delete them anytime, and they auto-delete on a schedule you control.
