Help with setting up KŌINIsee, enrolling your household, your subscription, and your data. We read every message.
After installing KŌINIsee, you'll be asked for three permissions, each explained before the system screen: notifications (to show the standing notice and send alerts), camera (to take the photo when a protected app opens), and Usage Access (to detect when a protected app comes to the foreground). Then enroll the people you trust, pick the apps to protect, and turn protection on.
Enrolled faces are matched on your device. If someone you trust is alerting you, re-enroll them with a few more photos in good light — faces change, and more samples improve matching. You can also mark a false alert as trusted from your gallery.
Most often this is your phone's battery optimization suspending the service. In your phone's settings, exclude KŌINIsee from battery optimization and allow it to run in the background. Also confirm Usage Access and camera permissions are still granted.
KŌINIsee is billed through Google Play. To change or cancel your plan, open the Google Play Store app → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → KŌINIsee. Cancelling stops future renewals and keeps access until the end of your current period.
Faces of the people you enroll stay on your device and are never uploaded. Only photos of unrecognized people are uploaded, encrypted, to your private account, and you can delete them anytime. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
You can delete individual evidence in the app or your web portal, or delete your entire account and all associated data. See Delete your account & data for the steps.
